Orchards
are open 10 to 5 Saturday & Sunday, except for
Northfield Mt. Hermon School Farm, which is open
Saturday only.

Apples, honey, and cider vinegar from the Smith family
orchard. Turn right at Peckville Rd, 3.4 miles west of
I-91 rotary (exit 26).

Clarkdale
Fruit Farms, Upper Road, West Deerfield

The Clarks grow 35 apple varieties on their farm. Turn
right on Newton St (first stop light after I-91/Rt 2
rotary towards Greenfield center). Go left at Munson St,
which becomes
Upper Road. Clarkdale Orchard on right.

Carol Hillman and Bob Colnes run a child friendly cider mill in New Salem.
Hay rides, live alpacas, cider donuts, caramel apples,
hot squash/cider soup, sweet potato pies, European
pastries and sun-cooked preserves. Also Farmstead's
wooden garden accessories, Joe Cuneo's garlic, and of
course, apples and sweet cider. Two special hard cider
events on Sunday: Michael Phillips' Wassail Ceremony and
Ria Windcaller's hard cider tasting and demo. From Rt. 2 (Exit 16) take
Rt. 202 South to New Salem Center (about 7 miles). At
blinking light turn left onto S. Main Street. Follow
apple signs.

Pine

While at the orchard, stop for breakfast, lunch or apple
pie a la mode in the orchard restaurant. The press will
be going as usual. From Greenfield (exit 26 off Rt. 91)
go west 3.7 mi. on Rt. 2 West. Turn right at Colrain
Shelburne Road. Ahead 3 mi. Starting from Shelburne
Falls: 6.5mi on Rt 112 North. Right at Greenfield Rd,
2.2 mi.

Wellsmont
Orchards, 106 Bardwell's Ferry Road, Shelburne
For decades, the Bishops have sold their apples
wholesale. From 1-91, take Rt. 2 west 6 miles. Left on
Shelburne Center Road, one mile. From Shelburne Falls,
go east 3 miles. Right on Shelburne Center Road.

West
County Cider, at Wellsmont Orchards, 106 Bardwell's
Ferry Road, Shelburne
Terry and Judith Maloney offer a wide range hard ciders
made from traditional American and European cider
varieties grown at their Catamount Hill Orchard, as well
as apples from local orchards. From 1-91, take Rt. 2
west 6 miles. Left on Shelburne Center Road, one mile.
From Shelburne Falls, go east 3 miles. Right on
Shelburne Center Road.

Northfield Mt. Hermon School Farm, Route 10, Gill,

Richard Odman and his students will be pressing apples
at the school farm. From Rt. 91 (Exit 28A), take Route
10 North to the main school entrance (on the right) and
after 1/2 mile, take the left hand fork and then the
next left.

Deerfield

From Rt. 91 (exit 24), take Rt. 5 & 10
north 5 miles. Take a left into Historic Deerfield. Bear
right at fork and continue along Main Street. Inn is 1/2
mile down the road on your left.

Cider Salon will be held at the White Church Community
Center. The CiderDay Dinner will be held at the Hall
