Cider Salon and Harvest Supper

TIME CHANGE
The Cider Salon is your opportunity to dozens of ciders from around the country. The 2009 event will be held at the at the White Church Community Center in Old Deerfield on Saturday, November 7th from 5:30 - 7 PM. Ticket $15 - Buy ahead because this event will definitely sell out.

The 2009 CiderDays Harvest Supper will be held at the Blue & White Society Room in the Pocumtuck Valley Memorial Association Teacher's Building from 7 to 9 pm on Saturday, November 7th. The feast includes seasonal savory and sweet New England themed cuisine. Every year, our dinner celebrates the local fall harvest by incorporating as many local ingredients as possible. Ticket $25 in advance; $30 at door. Buy ahead because this event is guaranteed to sell out.

The 2009 chef is Paul Correnty, who graciously volunteered his services for CiderDays. Here's the final menu:

Butternut squash and apple bisque
paired with Slyboro Old Sin

Seasonal greens, local goat cheese and craisin salad
with cider vinagrette
paired with Uncle John’s Hard Cider and
West County Dry Baldwin

Turkey and herbed root vegetable stew
over kickin' cornbread, or

Herbed root vegetable plate
w/ kickin' cornbread (vegetarian option)

paired with Bellwether Liberty Spy and
Farnum Hill Extra Dry

Warm apple crisp with Bart's Pumpkin Ice Cream
Black Star Farms Cider
