Cider Salon and Harvest Supper

 

The Cider Salon is your opportunity to sample dozens of ciders from throughout North America. There will be two Cider Salon sessions at the 2011 CiderDays — both will be held at the at the White Church Community Center in Old Deerfield on Saturday, November 5th:

Session I - 3:30 - 5:00pm

Session II - 5:30 - 7:00pm

The 2011 CiderDays Harvest Supper will be held at the Blue & White Society Room in the Pocumtuck Valley Memorial Association Teacher's Building from 7 to 9pm on Saturday, November 5th. The feast includes seasonal savory and sweet New England themed cuisine. Every year, our dinner celebrates the fall harvest by incorporating as many local ingredients as possible.

Tickets for the Salons and Harvest Supper will be on Sale beginning September 1st.

The 2011 Menu

Panko breaded scallops wrapped in local bacon

Cider-braised baked hake with crumb topping
or
Vegetable Soup with kale, potatoes and other
seasonal local produce

Harvest Slaw with apples and cider vinaigrette

Apple crisp topped with Bart’s ice cream and New Salem Preserves and Orchards cider syrup)

NOTE: No beverages are allowed to be brought into the dinner.
