Directions
to Franklin County
The
map below shows the Town of Greenfield (red star),
located in the center of Franklin County, and its
largest municipality. It is located at the junction of
Interstate 91 (north/south) and state route 2
(east/west)
Traveling
from Vermont and New Hampshire, take I-91 south to MA
Exit 26.
From
the east take either route 2 directly to Greenfield, or
I-90 (the Massachusetts Turnpike) to the I-91 exit, then
north to Exit #26.
From
the west take either route 2 directly to Greenfield, or
I-90 (the Massachusetts Turnpike) to the I-91 exit, then
north to Exit #26.
From
the south take I-91, which starts at the Exit from I-95
in New Haven CT., exiting at Greenfield at Exit 26.

Directions
to White Church/Cider
Salon from Brick Meeting House in Colrain Center:
Go up mountain and continue 5 m. to Rt 2. Take left on
Rt 2 to rotary (exit 26). Take 2A (Greenfield, Main St).
Go to 2nd light, turn right (Dunkin Donuts on corner).
This leads to Rt 5-10. When you get to Rt 5-10, turn
right and travel for about 2 1/2 miles. Make a right
turn onto Main Street in Deerfield (sign before the turn
says, ' Historic Deerfield'). Follow this street,
passing Deerfield Inn on right (on left is Hall Tavern,
which says 'Historic Deerfield' & ' Tickets &
Info'). Pass by big church & Deerfield Academy. Turn
left at Memorial Street (big sign for Quilt Show). Park
in Memorial Hall parking lot on left (says 'Teachers'
Center' & 'Historic Deerfield'). You will see White
Church on left.

to The White Church Community
Center (Cider Salon)
From
the South:
Take I-91 North, Exit 24. Turn right at top of ramp and
continue north on Routes 5 & 10. Follow signs to
Historic Deerfield, which is about 6 miles north on
Routes 5 and 10. On the way you will pass Yankee Candle
on the left. Turn
left on Memorial Street (across from the large
Eaglebrook School sign on the right). The White Church
Community Center is on the right just before Memorial
Street ends.
From
the North:
Take I-91 South, Exit 25. Turn left at the top of ramp
and turn left at the stop light onto Routes 5 & 10
North. Follow
signs to Historic Deerfield, which is about 4 miles
north on Routes 5 and 10. Turn left on Memorial Street
(across from the large Eaglebrook School sign on the
right). The
White Church Community Center is on the right just
before Memorial Street ends.
Parking:
The White Church Community Center is a white pillared
building. Parking is available:
1.
Around the driveway in front the Community Center
building.
2.
Along the driveway to the right of building (face in
parking)
3.
To the right and the rear of the Community Center
building
To
get from the CiderSalon to Hall Tavern for the dinner:
Standing in front of the White Church (with your back to
it) turn right onto Main Street. The Hall Tavern Visitor
Center is located about a half mile down on the right
hand side, across from the Deerfield Inn.

to the Blue
& White Society Room, PVMA Teacher's Building
From
the South:
Take
I-91 North to exit 24. Turn right at the end of the exit
ramp and head north on Routes 5 & 10 for
approximately six miles. Turn left onto Memorial Street.
The
PVMA Teacher's Building will be on your right (set back
from the road). The Blue & White Society Room is
accessible from the right side of the building. Parking
is available in front of the building.
From
the North:
Take I-91 South to exit 25 and turn left at the end of
the ramp. At the stop sign, turn left onto Routes 5
& 10 and travel north for approximately four miles.
Turn left onto
Memorial Street. The
PVMA Teacher's Building will be on your right (set back
from the road). The Blue & White Society Room is
accessible from the right side of the building. Parking
is available in front of the building.
