2007 CiderDay Dinner

The 2007 CiderDay Dinner will be held at the Blue & White Society Room in the Pocumtuck Valley Memorial Association Teacher's Building from 7 to 9 pm on Saturday, November 4th. The feast included seasonal savory and sweet New England themed cuisine. Every year, our dinner celebrates the local fall harvest by incorporating as many local ingredients as possible.

The 2007 chef is Paul Correnty, who has graciously volunteered his services for CiderDay. He is bringing his own twist to our meal this year:

Mixed local greens w/ Hillman Farms goat cheese tossed with cider vinaigrette

Butternut squash and cider bisque finished with cinnamon

Filet of native hake baked on a bed of fennel, leek, apples & carrots, deglazed with cider and topped with bread crumbs, served with a medley of locally harvested roasted root vegetables

Warm apple crisp topped with Bart's pumpkin ice cream

Tickets for the 2007 CiderDay Dinner are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Proceeds help fund future CiderDay events.
