Canning with Apples, Sweet Cider
and Cider Vinegar Workshop

Local canner Connie Clarke in Shelburne Center will offer three sessions of this informative workshop on Saturday, November 5th. Demonstration will cover techniques and tricks of preparing and canning Apple Butter, Brandied Apple Rings, Apple Chutney, and Fire Cider; one of the first three will be canned at the end of each session (Fire Cider does not require canning). These are great preserves for the winter and holidays. Three 2-hour sessions starting at 10 AM, 12 Noon, and 2 PM. Limit of 12 per session. Handouts provided.

Worshops will be held at Birchbrook Farm in Shelburne.

Directions: Take Route 2 (Mohawk Trail) East or West to Old Greenfield Road. In about 3/4 of a mile, turn right into #117, circular gravel driveway in front of a log house.
